Anywhereblogs is a new initiative for the whole of Manchester, the first public, citywide service of its kind in the world.

Anywhereblogs lets you discover and create the secret life of the places and events that matter to you, while you are out and about around the city.

You can use text messages and WAP on your mobile phone to read the secret life of some well known places in Manchester , and add your own feelings about somewhere in the city you care about.

Look out for posters and postcards around the city explaining how to use the service. At Urbis, for example, you will be asked “Which would be the best city in the world to get lost in, and what would happen?”

Or you can be the first to create a new place and write its secret life.

It can be somewhere well known, or known only to you and your friends.

You will have discovered and created an Anywhereblogs place, and it will come to life through what you, and other people, write.
